Artists are not charged to submit or list their work.
For original artwork sales, 70% of the artwork sale price goes to the artist. ArtKult retains the remaining share to operate the platform and support curation, technology, marketing and the wider sales process.
ArtKult manages the transaction with the collector and coordinates the sales process.
The artist prepares the artwork for dispatch according to our packaging requirements, while ArtKult coordinates shipping and appropriate transit arrangements with logistics partners. If the artist is unable to provide suitable crating or packaging, ArtKult can assist in arranging it.
The exact process and timings may vary depending on the artwork, its location and its destination.
For collectors, artworks can also be stored and managed by ArtKult based on the client's preference.
Yes. ArtKult is being built as an international platform, with artists, curators and collectors across different territories.
We are expanding gradually rather than attempting to cover every market immediately, allowing us to develop trusted local relationships and make sure logistics, regulation and the collector experience are handled properly.
Not at all. Part of ArtKult’s purpose is to make discovering and buying art feel less intimidating.
We want to speak both to experienced collectors and to people buying original art for the first time, with more context around artists, their practices and why a work matters.
And for those who cannot yet afford an original piece, our goal is to build a curious audience of future buyers.
Yes. We are open to partnerships with galleries, cultural organisations, art professionals and selected brands where there is a genuine connection to our artists and community.
ArtKult begins as a curated online platform, but our ambition extends beyond e-commerce.
We are developing an editorial side, cultural collaborations, physical events and exhibitions, and new ways for artists, curators and collectors to encounter one another.
ArtKult is a curated art platform connecting artists, curators and collectors.
We focus on the people behind the work as much as the work itself, combining careful curation with a more open, human approach to discovering and collecting art.
We are not an open marketplace where anyone can upload work.
Every artist and artwork is considered through a curatorial process, with input from curators who understand the artistic communities and territories they work in.
At the same time, we want to avoid the unnecessary gatekeeping that can make the art world feel inaccessible. ArtKult is selective, but it is also curious, international and open to artists at different stages of their careers.
We work with artists from all diverse backgrounds whose work has a distinctive point of view.
Artists do not need to be represented by a gallery to work with us. We are particularly interested in discovering practices and voices that deserve greater visibility, and that have something to say. Whether you are early in your career or already have an established body of work, if you are an artist with a clear voice, we are looking for you.
Artists are initially identified through our own research, recommendations and submissions.
Their work is then reviewed together with curators who bring knowledge of particular regions, practices and artistic contexts.
We look at the work itself, the artist's wider practice and whether there is a genuine fit with ArtKult’s curatorial direction.

No. ArtKult is designed as a non-exclusive platform, so artists remain free to work with galleries, other platforms and collectors independently.
We simply ask artists to keep us informed about the availability of works listed through ArtKult so that collectors always receive accurate information.
The artist remains closely involved in setting the price of their work.
Where useful, ArtKult and our curatorial network may offer guidance based on the artist's practice, previous sales, career stage and the wider market.
The aim is not to impose prices, but to make sure pricing is considered, consistent and fair.

Artists generally retain possession of their original works until they are sold.
This allows artists to remain in control of their work rather than sending inventory to a central warehouse or storage facility.

We are expanding gradually rather than attempting to cover every market immediately, allowing us to develop trusted local relationships and make sure logistics, regulation and the collector experience are handled properly.
Our initial focus includes original painting, sculpture, design works and limited-edition prints.
The selection will continue to evolve as ArtKult grows, but curation will remain central to the platform.
Artists can be invited directly by our team or considered through our submission process that can be initiated here.
If there is a potential fit, we will ask for information about the artist's practice and a selection of works for curatorial review.
Being considered does not automatically guarantee representation or listing.

Curators are at the heart of ArtKult’s selection process.
Depending on their expertise and location, they may review artist portfolios, help select works, offer perspective on positioning and pricing, and contribute to future editorial or cultural projects.
Their involvement is flexible and designed to work alongside their existing professional commitments.
